To near to be noticedI was struggling to change the combination lock for my new suitcase just now, and was almost getting extremely irritated and on the verge of calling up Eminent (the brand of my suitcase).
I just couldn't find enough information on Google on how I could go about changing the combination, and the Eminent website was down for some unknown reasons. I almost wanted to just dismantle anything that I could from my luggage to see if I could change the lock, or till the very end I simply thought I would just leave the combination code as the original 000 and prayed very hard no one would think of prying open my luggage.
Just when all hopes were lost, I finally decided to open up the suitcase and place the compartments nicely. THAT was when I found the information sheet WITH instructions on how to change the combination lock. Something which could have took me only five minutes made me spent almost an hour or so on it... simply because I forgot to check within the suitcase for instructions. Isn't it so typical? Like in reality, how so often we miss the important details around us, just because they were too near? The closer the proximity, the easier for us to neglect it's existence.
Indeeed, we should really open our eyes widely and observe carefully.
At least, that's what I learnt from this incident. =)
