Achievement of the day...
...was to prepare steamboat dinner for the besties, myself and Nobi!
Although it ain't any big feast, but for someone who doesn't step into the kitchen that often, I am quite pleased with the results for today.
But boy, it's so tiring to prepare food, have a good time with your guests/friends, send them off and having to DO THE DISHES! Don't we just wish that everything ends with saying Goodbye and then we can all head to bed? Sadly no, and it would be a disaster if the dishes were chucked till the next day. At least now, kitchen's clean, dishes's done, no worries. :)
Anyway, I made dessert for them too. Yuzu konnyaku jellies, hehehe. Received raves from the besties and they
da bao-ed more jellies home.
I feel pretty proud of myself... I gave myself a challenge of preparing a meal for my friends and I succeeded! Everyone had a great time, and I am happy too, despite losing money in Mahjong! Hehehe.
Parents are finally coming back tomorrow! Though they were only away for a while, but I guess I did display my inert domesticated side and managed quite well. At least I think I fared better than they would have guessed, haha!
