The atypical Xiao MingEver since my schooling days, my Chinese teachers have always make us use this particular name, 小明 when writing compositions. In fact until now, I think this name pops up relatively often in Chinese compositions, sentence structuring and many more...
Somehow over the years, I guess my impression of Xiao Ming has been moulded into one of something like this...
Maybe that's due to the stereotyping of the 小明 character in composition I guess, or maybe because it's a name too common for one to remember and dwell on...

I not-so-recently got to know one particular 小明（晓明） that actually looks so good!
OMG, I never knew that 晓明 could look so good! Haha! Not only that, 黄晓明 has a pretty good voice. Been looping the theme song he sang for 《新上海滩》on my iTunes, the song's rather good!
