过度沉迷于追偶像Gave my class 报章读后感 assignment to do today. The article was about the above mentioned.
Frankly speaking, I have been following the news reports and articles on this issue pretty closely. And seriously, up to this point of stage, I STILL do not think it is the fault of the artiste, whom in this case happens to be Andy Lau (thus the reason I am SO interested in this issue).
In my opinion (strictly of that simply as an individual), I think that woman's insane, and so are her parents. Which parents in their right minds would spend all their money to indulge their daughter in her star chasing fantasy for 13 years? And isn't it ridiculous for a grown up person to believe she's destined to be with some famous artiste just because she dreamt of him? Oh please, then if she had dreamt of Osama, would she be somewhere in the Middle East trying to track him down and stick to him like super glue? Or what if she had dreamt of Bruce Lee instead? So she's going to commit suicide and join him down there to fulfill their destiny?
Diao!!!
And now that her father's dead, she blames Andy Lau for causing his death. Firstly, hasn't it ever occurred to her that her father died because SHE was the one who was obssessed with Andy Lau? If SHE hadn't want to go to Hong Kong to see Andy Lau and speak to him alone, if SHE hadn't been disappointed on not being able to speak to him alone, if SHE hadn't made her father borrow from loansharks just to let her go to Hong Kong and see Andy Lau, would any of these happened? NOPE. And so who's to be blamed? HERSELF. She has herself to blame for her father's death. If she had used a little more brain cells to figure out that Andy Lau doesn't belong to her, that she should simply get a life, that she should be looking after her parents and not make them look after her, probably her dad might have lived to a hundred and not simply jumped off from Star Ferry in Hong Kong. Again, so who's to be blamed for all these? Simply HERSELF.
If you think that's the end of the story, nope. Now, she's claiming that she never had the intention of wanting to see Andy Lau, and she asks him to "go to hell" for being such an unfeeling and callous person. That woman is CRAZY. If she were to get her way, would it mean more people trying to commit suicide just so their idols would oblige to all their unreasonable requests? Then wouldn't the idols be so busy trying to appease their fans from not commiting suicide all the time? And what if some really looney fans use death to threaten these idols into marrying them? Won't these idols have so many husbands/wives? Ridiculous.
Seriously, I hate people who always try to push the blame onto other people when things happen. Did this woman ever once felt that she was in a way or another responsible for her father's death? Nope. Did she ever felt responsible for landing her parents into such predicament? Nope. In every report I have seen so far, she seems to feel that whatever she has done over these 13 years are all right. And her definition of "right" includes dropping out of school, buying cds and idol related merchandise with her parents' hardearn money, living off her parents and being a practically piece of junk rotting at home fantasizing about Andy Lau. Gees, she is so "right". No one can ever be more "right" than her. And so now the entire world is to be blamed for her sad plight. Andy Lau should be blamed for her father's death simply because he refused to give in to her demand of an one-to-one session. How "right" she is! *roll eyes*
But I do have to agree that she's right in one thing - not wanting to see Andy Lau anymore. With fans like that, who needs flamers? She is clearly so much more a detractor than anything else. I am just so happy she finally made one right decision of not wanting to see Andy Lau anymore. Please, free the poor artiste from her lunatic acts. These artistes just want to make a living, they don't deserve this kind of shit stuff from freakos like that woman.
Okay, I think I have made my point/stand super clear, haha. End of entry.
