Sitting down and watch the world go by...Today I had a very leisure afternoon... C picked me up from school in the afternoon and we headed down to Tampines Mall. We had lunch at this Viet-Thai restaurant which served pretty good food at reasonable price. Then C headed off for a meeting, while I spent the two hours of waiting time shopping around the malls.
Decided to spree books instead of spree-ing for clothes as usual, and I bought a total of like 6 books within 2 hours, 3 work related and 3 others. It was a pleasant surprise to see TIMES selling The Teenage Textbook and The Teenage Workbook, books of my teen era~!!! Hence, I just got it without thinking, and I got the Hunchback of Notre Dame novel as well, for a cheap $5!
Headed off to Delifrance after my books purchase and sat at the cafe, drinking my Chamomile tea, munching on baguettes, reading my books while waiting for C to come back from the meeting. It was absolutely relaxing to just sit down, sip some tea and read with all the time in the world. While everyone was busy with their chores and stuff, there I was, sitted comfortably with a book, watching others scurried around hurriedly, great feeling. Haha.
C finally came back in the evening, and we shopped a while more before having dinner at Ajisen Ramen. I feel so sinful today for having ate so much! But then again, who can resist good food? Hahaha... Finally came home after spending like half my day in Tampines Mall.
Oh, and I think I shall go get a microphone soon for my computer, and try my hands on podcasting. Seems pretty fun!!!
