Notre Dame de ParisBack from watching the musical, Notre Dame de Paris, at Singapore Indoor Stadium. The musical was great, with splendid renditions by the actors and an extremely engaging plot of love, deceit, betrayal and possession.
The ending was sad though, Quasimodo and Esmeralda both died, and with some other characters dying in the midst of the musical.
It was kind of tough though, having to juggle between the main stage and the side screens to read the English subtitles, since this musical was in French, and I can barely understand those
cheem cheem words they use.
The lyrics were all very beautifully written, but my favourite lyrics from the musical was from Esmeralda's Live for the one I love. It goes...

Give, asking nothing in return.So romantic, the perfect epitome of love.
Next up on my must watch list is The Phantom of the Opera. Hopefully my friends change their minds soon, or hopefully I can find someone to go watch it with. It's boring when the people you know don't share the same interest as you, and you can't get them to do these things together. And I seriously hope I won't have to go to the musical alone, since I have never tried that before. But I really really want to go for it, because I can't imagine having to wait another 13 years to catch the musical. Oh my gosh, 13 years later, I would be 36. Eeeks!!!
